Digital Memory Media Enhances Development Departments
For Schools Nationwide
Digital Memory Media works with schools and universities around the United States to preserve their history. Digital Memory Media digitizes school photos, videos, documents, slides, yearbooks, newspapers, microfilm and oral histories. With Digital Memory Media's assistance, development departments of schools have strengthened relationships with alumni, student body, families, communities, and prospective students. Most importantly, alumni are delighted to be reconnected with childhood memories and feel a great sense of gratitude and pride in their schools.
How It Works
+ We will digitize any and all formats, including photos, yearbooks, videos, documents, 8mm or 16mm movies, newspapers, microfilm and audio recordings. All digital conversions are performed in-house at our safe and secure East Brunswick facility.
+ We install the Digi-Find-It Portal, our proprietary software program which enables keyword search throughout the digitized data. Faculty members or students can easily search the digitized archives for any memory. The archives can also be segmented, such as dividing between public and private viewing, or alumni only viewing.
+ All original memories are returned to the schools in their original condition.
"Over the years I continue to send our documents and videos to DMM on a regular basis so that each year of our school’s activities is documented and preserved. They perform their work with the highest technical ability, and with the utmost integrity. DMM’s services are of great importance to an archivist who has the responsibility for the preservation of The Hun School’s history."- Mary Ann Fox, Archivist/ Librarian, The Hun School of Princeton
